The Patrol Section, the Traffic Section, and the K9 Unit report to the Community Services Bureau

Commander, which allows for a coordinated response to uniformed law enforcement needs of our

community.

UNIFORM PATROL
The Uniform Patrol Section is comprised of uniform officers assigned to three Patrol Sections referred to as

Watches. Each Watch is under the command of a Lieutenant and two or three Sergeants. Hours for the

Watches were 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, and 10pm to 6am. The Patrol Section consists of three

TRAFFIC SECTION
The Traffic Section consists of one supervisor, one officer, one meter repair officer, and one parking

control officer. Responsibilities include hit-skip accident follow up, planning and organizing special events,

and coordinating police operations with other city departments. The section also coordinates parking

enforcement, meter collection and repairs, and scheduling of secondary employment.       Read More
